I picked up a package of "Jody's Jambalaya" mix at Leblanc's Payless last week while I was in Gonzales. This is the best pre-packaged Jambalaya I have ever tasted...PERIOD! I will be ordering more ASAP! All I had to do was cook my meat then add water and Jambalaya mix...followed instructions for cooking time, then ate the best Jambalaya I've ever eaten out of a package...better than most I've eaten from scratch! This stuff is legit!

It is good stuff, I think better than oak grove which has been my go to for years. Jody won the Jambalaya Festival a few years ago

I've used Jody's mix myself and the stuff is legit. This is coming from someone who can't even boil water. Its actually too easy to make bc there is not enough time to get a couple cold ones down while cooking.

WOW. Im with Neauxla and the other poster. I really enjoy Oak Grove. Its been MY go-to for quite some time. I am anxious to try this stuff. If its as good as you say it is, then I'm a little excited.

Also, where is the best place to find boudin in Gonzales/Sorrento/Convent/Lutcher/Donaldsonville area? Other threads have failed to deliver this info.

Good Link!!

They gave mad props to Market Basket in Lake Charles. I grew up on this boudin and thought it was the bees knees. I compare all boudin to this stuff. Im glad others feel the same way!

I'm not sure about stores in Baton Rouge; I bought it in Gonzales. There is a website listed on the back of the package though. jodysjambalaya.com
It may list the stores that sell it, or buy it directly from them. ???

I went to school with Jody. My son dated his daughter and his son and my son are good friends.
I'm sure no one cares about that.

Anyway, Jody is a nice guy and a great cook. I hope his product sells well. I need to get some and try it.

I would guess that the local AG stores sell it.

My cousin recently started making his own jambalaya mix. He sold it to us and we loved it. I don't remember the name he gave it though But they're apparently being sold around BR now.

Yes, I checked today because I too am out of state, they will ship anywhere. I will be placing an order tonight; I didn't buy enough while I was in town.

Why would you link a site that isn't even working?
