Thanks! Have reservations with friends this weekend; I've never been there.
Tommy's in NOLA

Any thoughts on this place?
Jody is from Gonzales. I think he was the 2008 Jambalaya Festival champion and then won the champions cookoff the next year. I tried his dirty rice recipe for Thanksgiving; it was a hit! Nice guy; he responds to questions emailed to his website personally.

Maybe the OP knows the daughter has probably heard it before, but chooses not to subject her to it any more than is nessesary. Maybe the OP understands that watching a movie with a large amount of "ADULT language", signals to her that nothing is wrong with it. Maybe if more parents felt the same as the OP, younger people today would have more respect for others and themselves. Maybe???
 to the OP
I sent in a check. I asked about credit card too; he replied that I should be able to order with card via his website soon. I'm not sure about minimal order; I guess the five bags that I ordered met the requirement.

Someone ask him if/where you can find his mix in the New Orleans area.
Not sure about retail, but I'm sure he will ship to you; I ordered from Tulsa.
Yes, I checked today because I too am out of state, they will ship anywhere. I will be placing an order tonight; I didn't buy enough while I was in town.

I'm not sure about stores in Baton Rouge; I bought it in Gonzales. There is a website listed on the back of the package though. jodysjambalaya.com
It may list the stores that sell it, or buy it directly from them. ???

No comparison! Much better!
Found a new Jambalaya mix!

I picked up a package of "Jody's Jambalaya" mix at Leblanc's Payless last week while I was in Gonzales. This is the best pre-packaged Jambalaya I have ever tasted...PERIOD! I will be ordering more ASAP! All I had to do was cook my meat then add water and Jambalaya mix...followed instructions for cooking time, then ate the best Jambalaya I've ever eaten out of a package...better than most I've eaten from scratch! This stuff is legit!
Yea ummm, it was.

The "Gangster" that shot Ricky, the football star, in Boyz in the Hood was Chris Tucker.

Most of SE Hintons were set around that area and Oklahoma I think also.
"Outsiders" set in Tulsa. "Tex" was set in Bixby OK; suburb of Tulsa. S.E. Hinton is from Tulsa and many of her works reflect the area.

No. As I recall, it best fit a small town in North Texas.

Waiting for Miles to say uh....Drew Breeees!
I straight up stated that they are LOOKING at a BCS bid, you are correct. You said that there is NO WAY that OSU receives a BCS bid; care to crawfish on that statement? Is there "no way?"
See, I can do it too. As I stated earlier, try not to be an arse.
