Nah. I didn't do that.
I upvoted that you did it. Downvoted that you didn't

He actually started taking about tossed salads.
I wasn't sure if he even knew he'd been trolled, or was just trying to play it off.

Yeah, he just went on his normal little talk about how much loves tossed salads. All restaurants should do it table side, blah blah. I think the caller could be heard giggling a little.
And as mentioned before, the best call ever..... Guy calls and asked about a good Italian restaurant in the Kenner/Metairie area. I can't even remember what Tom's canned normal response was, but the caller said "oh yeah, I know that place. That's the place where the chef stirs the red sauce with his cock".
The production assistant or whoever didn't cut it off in time. I almost ran off the road.

Now, that was NOT me, and I didn't hear that one. I might troll him a little this Saturday if I can remember.

He handled a lot of the "crank" calls very well, but there were some he just couldn't make work out. Does he get that many these days? I would think that since he no longer has a food board on which he ticked off a large number of people daily that he wouldn't have as many. He had a good many of them during the food board days. He didn't much like it when those were discussed the following day.

Yeah, I haven't heard any of those kind of calls in a few years, but I haven't listened as much lately either.
Generally now I'm more likely to get annoyed with callers than I am with Tom. Although right when I turned the show on today, he was in his first time he had a roast beef poboy story that I've probably heard 25 times now.
