Does anybody have any? I’ve lived here for a year and a half and haven’t found much to look forward to in the way of eats.

Ricatoni's in Florence is the only one I know about. It's decent, but I live in Birmingham which has 3 or 4 Italian places that are better. The pizza place across the street from it was decent as well. Not spectacular, but better than Papa John's, Domino's, etc.

How close are you to Meridian? Weidmann’s is good.

Probably not very. Did they teach you any geography in rocket scientist school?

Jackson and Meridian are as far north as I usually go in MS. I’ve only lived two places, San Francisco and Telluride, north of Alexandria in my life...for 44 of my 47 years, Jackson has been about as far north as I want to drive in a day. Meridian is 3 hours north of me. Guess I never really think that MS and AL are taller than LA.

I like Ricatonis as well.
The Pie Factory is across the street and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Rosies is excellent for Mexican/Drinks

From the N MS state line it's 150 miles from Illinois and 320 miles from the Gulf Coast
