Show your trophies of anything F&D related..

Some of the biggest crabs I've seen, picture doesn't do justice.

Dredging oysters the other week in Christmas Camp Lake and this little guy decided to surprise us.

Shrimp caught in Delacroix Island, 10 times the normal amount. Haven't seen a catch like this in years.

Simply Grilled Chicken & Veggies

Oyster for your thoughts..

The crabs were boiled in unseasoned water and before I could take them home they got boxed up and shipped out

Set the stingray back in the water, it came awfully close to getting me though! Caught some baby flounder & a shrimp in the dredge too.

Should have cleaned and sauteed that mother... Some of the best meat I've ever eaten from something others consider to be trash. Tastes like scallops.

Does one simply stand on the shrimp to work the controls of the boat?

This! Stingray wings are suprisingly good meat! It is firm and white, and does taste similar to scallop meat. I slice the wings off on the deck of the boat and put them in a trash bag in the cooler. Soak them in salty ice water, then skin like a catfish.

The shrimp picture from the last few weeks ?

I saw some other pics and heard everyone had amazing hauls a few weeks ago when that first front moved thru.

Yes, took that picture on October 27. As fast as your nets drop you were pulling them right back up. You could literally see them jumping out the water.

That reminds me of the good ol' days of smelting in the North.

Thanks. I'm a big fan of the recipes in American Pie.
