If Zachary had a Jason’s Deli I would only have about 3 other reasons to ever go to BR.
Are you saying you go out of your way to eat at Jason's Deli?
I feel like that's a last resort kind of restaurant.
Jason's is a little bland, but it's far from a last resort. It's a perfectly adequate sandwich shop. City Pork is much better, imo, but Jason's has a lot wider selection. It's a good compromise restaurant, and very consistent.

That was slightly my point, though admittedly I didn’t express myself properly. Nothing wrong with the place, but going out of your way to eat there?

Beto's. 24Hr Mexican joint with drive thru. Good prices and big burritos. I miss that place. I don't think any exist outside of Utah.

Thanks tough guy...don’t know what I would without you pointing my oversight out.

Meh, if it's been a while since you've had it, you might be disappointed.
Lol
I have probably eaten Cane's at least once in a two month period from 2000 (when I came home from the USMC)to now. Yes, the fingers got slightly smaller 8-10 years ago. The fries changed slightly before that. They stopped allowing you to sub a 3rd piece of toast for the sauce around 02.
Nothing else has ever changed except slight increases in price, but I hear posters on hear claim--every year--that the quality of their product has changed so much. No it hasn't. In fact, Cane's, along with CFA, has stayed the most consistent over the years.
I am not hating or trying to stir shite, just speaking the truth.

Whataburger.
Why the hell are there no Whataburgers in the New Orleans area???
They're in Baton Rouge. They're in Gulfport. We got skipped.

well, yes, there is that...
I admit to liking Quick-Mex where you can drown it with various salsas. Bonus: their daiquiri machinas.
Muey buenos.

Jason’s deli has the best muff in BR. That’s all I get from there.

Shoneys. I loved the breakfast buffet in my home town. The closest one is like 40 miles down 65.

I like Jason’s Deli for their salad bar and french onion soup! Sandwiches are ok but I will usually go to Newks for those.

It’s Cane’s for me too, man. I miss Popeyes, Chick Fila, wendy’s, and Waffle House.

Several Pollo Tropicals popped up in Dallas and within a few months of them opening, they all closed. The buildings were all brand new too. Didn't get to try it.
You guys should want an El Pollo Regio chain. Best damn mesquite grilled chicken. The green sauce is incredible and may have crack in it. Their corn tortillas are heaven. I think Shreveport has one, but the rest are in NTX.
