How do you reason with yourself to go eat there? Would you eat there once a week or more? What do you order?

Been there once. It's okay, but if I'm going to consume massive calories, I'll pick something better.

There's a new one about to open on Severn in Metairie at the old Ground Patti location.
I don't know why they're popular. Over-priced burgers in a crappy atmosphere.

Five guys is good, but greasy so you can't eat it often. It's a once or twice a year type of place for me. Also, order one fry and you can share it with everyone in the place.
I used to enjoy it 5-10 years ago, but I went within the past year and it was horrible. They should have been embarrassed with the burger they put out. I won't consider going back and can see why they keep closing.

I have never understood the appeal. Bland arse fried hamburgers and way too many fries and it is overpriced for what you get. The one down from my house closed and it was less than 100 miles from their headquarters.

I eat Five Guys a couple times a month. I like it. I think it is better than the California darling In n Out. It's fast food and it tastes good to me. It is overpriced though and the "dine in" experience is harsh on the eyes. I've only been to one location (Long Beach) but it is very bright and loud. In approximately 25 out of the 30 times eating Five Guys it has been takeout.

Heard all the hype over the years so I tried it once and haven't been back. Wasn't overly impressed and it should have tasted like a million bucks because I was shitfaced.

5 guys is awesome and i love the extra fries when im wanting to binge or after a hangover
