Anyone saying canes and Zaxby's are different are highly delusional. Their sauce is extremely similar, they both serve the same crinkle fries, and the chicken is basic arse fries chicken.

Now canes toast is definitely better, but Zaxby's sauce selection is infinitely better, especially their hot honey mustard
Canes chicken is juicier imo. Zaxbys always seems dry.

Fries are even.
Canes has better main sauce, although zaxbys does have more selection. (Canes honey mustard is watery trash).
Canes has better slaw.
Canes has better bread.

Zaxbys offers salads, wings, and some cool apps. Other than that, if i want what canes and zaxbys both have, its canes all day.

What else can you sub the fries out for? The fries really aren’t good

The sauce is ketchup, mayo, worcestershire sauce a little black pepper and garlic powder. A child can mix that together. Did you grow up eating bland Midwest food or something?

I love that style sauce. I just don’t think Cane’s was the best version of it. Sauce ranking:

1. Guthrie’s
2. Zaxby’s
3. Cane’s

In this thread, we have multiple adults arguing over who has the best chicken tenders, which is a food that I thought most people stop eating at around age 12.

We also have one weird guy who thinks that the CEO of a privately held regional fast food restaurant in the Southeast is the richest man in the world.

This thread should be moved to the OT.

I have never been to Cane's or Zaxby's. Am I really missing out on not having chicken tenders?

Maybe I’m weird but I really like the slaw, also the tenders are better naked than battered.

I’m guessing you don’t like Chick-fil-a either? Canes is one of the only fast food places that I go to (the others being Chick-fil-a and Popeyes). It’s not earth shattering by any stretch, but it’s decent food that doesn’t seem like over processed crap that most other fast food restaurants serve.

There aren't that many up here. I have eaten there in the past. It was fine.

It's breaded chicken that's fried in canola and soy oil.

It's real fresh chicken, that beats a slew of the other shitty fast food chains

I didn’t grow up in a chicken tender family, so the CFA/Canes love to the point of the lines they constantly have always surprises me. When I was a kid, fast food for us was a treat and it was always McDonalds where we got hamburger happy meals. I remember thinking the kids who got nuggets must have had parents who forced them to get that

It’s interesting how the habits your parents had have such an influence on you.

The real psychopaths are the ones that order the sandwich at canes.

Your overall point is valid, but Canes is not regional anymore.

There are two Canes within a 10 minute drive of my house in the suburbs of Chicago, which is decidedly not the Southeast.

That's pretty awesome. Good for Graves. I'm certainly not trying to denigrate his success.

This is a good point, and one I didn't really think about. I, too, did not grow up in a chicken tender family, so maybe that's why I don't really "get" the love either.

What the hell does this have to do with whether OP liked the food?

As for his success...
