Just loaded up a case of beers from Spec's to haul home tomorrow.
My buddy who lives in Houston (not a maven) really enjoys Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet. I was going to buy him one but it was bottled in 2011. I couldn't do it.
But I guess I don't understand how Black IPAs age. I guess if it's mostly hops, it ages bad, but if it's small hops big roast it can be nice
Because on that same token, I bought a 4-pack of Blakkr which was canned in March 14 and I found it to be very tasty…better than when I had it fresh. I went over to BA and it's still getting fabulous reviews as of this month.
