Keep meaning to grab one. That's their collaboration with Terrapin, right?

That's what half the label says, although the other half is Greek (Norwegian) so I could be drinking anything.

ETA: sweet arse picture a la BMoney. Notice the awesome moustache glasses I got this week for the big 3-0.

You like Belgian style ales? You like IPAs?

4BD is a Sam Adams New World Tripel. Low expectations, but they were exceeded. This is a good beer. I will drink again.

I do like Belgian ales.

I don't know much about IPAs at all, but I know it stands for India Pale Ale. That being said, one of my most despised beers ever is Sierra Nevada pale ale.

I don't know why, but I have had a hard time committing to buying some of that Sam Adams line. Haven't tried it, but might have to throw a couple in the basket next time.

It was one of those I'll-try-anything-once impulse purchases. But this one is good. Got a Thirteenth Hour Belgian stout to try as well. All of these are part of their Barrel Room Collection. Maybe that's why I like.

OK, then we'll stay away from IPAs and hoppy beers and go with some good Belgian style ales.

Marcello's will have several choices from Unibroue. I suggest La Fin du Monde, Maudite or Trois Pistoles. Brookyn Local 1 and Brooklyn Local 2 are also super choices in this style. Ommegang makes great Belgian style stuff too. Look for their Abbey Ale, Hennepin or Three Philosophers--anything by Ommegang really. This stuff should be available at Marcello's.

I cooked something I will call a shrimp and andouille creole. Smells really good. Now contemplating TBD.
