I think lots of people will miss this one!

SBD is a Magic Hat HiPA that my nephew left in my ice chest in Auburn last weekend. I think this is the best Magic Hat brew I've tried. Not great, but a solid, above average IPA.

FBD is a Clown Shoes Supa Hero IPA. Better than expected. 8% well hidden. I'd drink this again.

We spend way too much time and money finding and trying new beers. Clown Shoes is available in BR and not hard to find though.

Great beer. Oskar Blues is on my short list of breweries I wish we could get here.

You in Lafayette? Are you really looking to try something you haven't tried before?

FBD: Zywiec Porter

Not bad. Starts a little bitter finishes smooth. The more I drink the more I like it. Pours black. 9.5% Abv

SBD/TBD - Nogne-O Imperial Rye Porter

Lots of dark chocolate notes but still a creamy taste.

I have not had that one, but their Imperial Stout is killer.

TBD is a Ranger Creek Small Batch Series #2. Nice peppery Saison.

Haven't had the Stout, but if this was labeled stout I wouldn't know the difference. The imperial stouts I have had always seem to be a little harsher than this one so maybe that is the creamy taste.

Might have to grab a bottle of each and see where that leads.

BTW, for you cheap beer drinkers out there, Calandro's has Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat and Sam Adams Summer Ale on sale for $1.99 a 6-pack and Sierra Nevada Summerfest for $2.99 a 6-pack. All better beers than Bud Light, Miller Lite and Coors Light at 1/3 of the cost.
