Dank seemed to have some sort of oddish underlying smell and taste I wasn't expecting. Bought a 4-pack and just didn't care so much for it.

However, this Gone Rye is pretty damn good.

Where you at ICanSee?

Reminds me of Barley Oak somewhat.

My taste buds must have missed the boat on that beer. I've seen several of you mavens mention how good Mountain Standard, yet when I tried it on draft at Whole Foods (meaning I'm assuming fresh),

Places will still sale old IPAs. A while back I picked up a Deviant keg from Oskar Blues. They tried to give me one that was 8 months old. I am thinking you got an old pour.

My buddy went to Avery today at their new location and they are doing growler fills now. Check out these prices. You also have to buy the growler on top of this shite. El oh el.

I'd love to try that Lawson's one day.

Gotta clean out all these parade ground porters and all days taking up space in my fridge since Mardi Gras.

I'm not sure what I paid for my Rumkyn and Pumkyn, but 100 bones for a growler seems a bit high. Maharaja for me is around 10-11 bucks. 40 for a growler is no deal.

Avery charges $12 for 12 oz bottles at their releases and are priced about the same give or take a dollar once they hit liquor stores. You also need to tack on the price of the growler for these fills. I love dry hopped hog heaven but I am not going to pay $36 plus the price of their metal growler to drink it at home.

They should call it a black ipa and not an imperial stout.
