4BD is a Claim 52 Private Eyes IPA. If memory serves (a huge if), this weekend is the first time I've had any Claim 52 brews. I am impressed.

I believe you're correct. I just started seeing cans within the last year. I believe they have been around as long as I have been in Portland, but they took a huge leap up in the quality of their beers recently. I used to automatically bypass their beers when I saw them on tap, but now I look out for them.
