Just left Fairhope Brewing. Nice folks over there. The head brewer's wife is from the LP. I had their Mint Julep Ale and a few of their Rescue Dog Red (imperial red ale), which was very solid.

It got better as the bottle was open. Let it sit in the glass for a while. I am with you-great citrus, banana smell and a nice hop bite, but the mouthfeel is too carbonated for my tastes. Minor complaint though, I like the beer.

I wish I'd known you were there before you left. I brought them some Abrasive and Parish Grand Reserve, so I bet they remember me!
