Is FBD "first beer of the day"?

Is so, FBD is a Guinness Black Lager.

And if SBD is "second beer of the day" then SBD is also Guinness Black Lager.

Thanks for the invite. Just checked my text to make sure I hadn't just missed it.

And I'm all about truth in advertising. You didn't lose your power, unless you count that 10 minute blip. I've got sources, remember?

I was thinking you were in the area with the voluntary evacuation. Some of my other jambalaya kings are sure sweating it.

No I'm over here on Hwy 621 near St. Mark church. We are high and dry here. Didn't even flood in 1923 here so says my grandpaw God rest his soul.

I feel bad for those down by the Black Bayou and New River. Pumps failed I heard over at the New River pumping station.

Knowing the circles you seem to run in from your posts, you probably know my buddy KF that works down in Geismar? He won the cook-off in Gonzales a few years ago. They are off Stinger Bridge and thinking they will have to bail. I told him he could store all his cookware at my place.

over

KimJong hasn't responded to my question on his OP. I'm betting he lawyered up.

I lost power at 6:15 PM Wednesday and got it back at 11:11 am today. It was just me and a couple of neighbors. The Hawkins next door had power but not me and my next door neighbor.

Hmmmm....I guess I'll have to buy that. I knew the rest of the hood survived, but it's a safe bet my Dad wasn't out wandering around in the weather to check things out.

Repayment from Entergy for the 3 weeks without power following Gustav? Or just that there weren't any water oaks left?

Using that generator brought back bad memories from 4 years ago. I am happy I got power back within 48 hours.

16 days last time. I got proactive and cut down all the water oaks in my yard. This time a fuse tripped on the pole in my back yard. All the Entergy guy did was flip the fuse with a pole and we had power.

Me too, for you. What was it 4 years ago, 20+ days? My Dad's whole house generator paid for itself about 3 times over that year. I should have offered to have you store your beer supply over there. It would have been safe and cold.
