4BD - another Southern Tier Hop Sun, trying to finish off some stragglers from the beach so that I don't have to transport them back to DFW

After quite a few ponies and twist top Coors lights I greatly improved my taste.

Had this, a Classic gueze and a taste of G'Knight from Oskar Blues.

Tried to like the classic Gueze. Just wasn't my style. Especially at $22 a bottle

Not sure what number I'm on at this point. Whatever # it is, it's a NOLA Brown.

Had the Iris a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Wish that Texas didn't have such wacked out beer laws so that we could get Cantillon over there.

Jean Van Roy seemed pretty perturbed by "oude" classification when he talked about it in a podcast. I didn't realize that many lambic breweries were now adding artificial sweetener to their brews until I read "Wild Brews" and "oude" is used to designate ones that don't have artificial sweetener added to them. Van Roy felt that the "new style" should be given a designation and not the classic style.

Next BD is a Pensacola Bay DeLuna.

Nice, lightly fruity session beer.
