Yeah that's not good. I saw that the owner is the same dude who owns Delachaise and Sov Pub next door, assuming he's got old money and real estate, but it's going to be tough to survive like that. Can't imagine there's many more sketchy people around than any other uptown bar but you never know I suppose. 
I hope it makes it, to be a block from a legit beer bar, legit soccer spot, dela, milk bar, have a mardi gras spot, etc and be able to walk outside and jump on the street car to go anywhere (work downtown, ave pub, down to mag with a little walk, quarter, whd, games, etc)...gigitty.

Today is my official "back on the diet" day. So.. that and I'm back on night shift, so no BD for moi. I will probably have an allotted "beer night" once a week, though. I mean, I shipped a box from Austin.. it's gotta get drunk

FBD- Hopsecutioner- I don't know if this is a bad batch or what, but I haven't been impressed with the ones I've had. I had heard good things but I don't know.

Very nice. Aroma is up there with the best. Taste is good and bitterness is huge on the back end. Balances out the abv well.

Had one of those on Friday. I agree it is excellent, have to watch the 11% though, that caught up to me later.
