Don't get me wrong, I'm down with corn tortillas... I just wish I could switch it up every once in a while.

Can't get over the flavor of this pale ale. Looks like OJ in my glass.

I have been saying for some time that some of these hoppy pale ales are so good, that I'm not sure why we have the category of session IPA.

I saw "Piñon pub" on your glass and one could only guess...

Santa Fe is probably my favorite city in the US.

FBD while packing up a trade box

Holy Moses.

I really like the base beer -- I've consumed my fair share of it. This is ratcheted up to the next level. It's all dark chocolate and vanilla at first, particularly the dark chocolate, but then you get some bitter coffee right at the same time the chocolate goes bittersweet. Finishes with a hit of whiskey and spice -- you get some burn, but I feel like that's more a result of the peppers than the beer being overly boozy. In fact, the ABV has come down to 11.2% according to the bottle. It really is just wave after wave of flavor.

That being said, I don't know wtf this label is about, but what a downgrade. I love the label for the base beer. This is weird. Also, 12 oz. of this is going to be too much for me. I'll drink it (and be glad to have it), but this would be ideal for a 6 oz. pour.

Very well, as it should. It's a great beer. Great beer is great beer, no matter where it's brewed.

Quite good. Not on the same level as their Citra Smash Pale Ale earlier, but still pretty darn nice.
