It is very good, but not top tier IMO. Still one of the best IPAs regularly available here.

I'm not seeing a date stamp but malt is not the problem. It tastes like a melted piece of candy. Assuming small batch can't be old.

For a pale ale the beer was fricking deliciously hoppy. The tacos were honky.
Also had a taste of their wheat beer. It reminded me of grand isle, and I love grand isle.
