Fifth BD brother's home brew dark wheat with some sour notes. He thinks he put too much yeast. It's interesting.

So he wasn't planning on it being sour? How old is it? Typically sour notes would take a bit of time to develop.

Love DJ. It and Pliny are neck and neck for me, with Heady being just a bit better than both.

All three are world class, all-star beers imo though.

He says it was sour to begin with. But it is his older brew so maybe age has a little to do with it. The english ginger he made is interesting, although he's done better in the past.

I do this a lot when trailing running in remote places. You would be surprised how often sleeping in your car is frowned upon by local authorities. I think pretty much every trail race now has the disclaimer, "No vehicle camping allowed"
