Damn, I don't know what to think of Hop Waffle. It's an India Maple Ale. The nose is strong waffles and maple syrup. The taste is a fruity IPA with the slightest hint of maple that dissipates quickly, almost like it wasn't there. Interesting. The beer is very good. The strong nose is confusing because it does not match the flavor. I'll call it a success because it's good, and people will talk about this.
I've not seen a brewery that makes better smelling beers than Great Notion. Freaky.
