Apparently you are going to get a shitload of 3 Way IPA next week.

Not much chance of that!

I will share with the local Krewe, of course.

Ate at Peche's Luke in San Antonio a couple weeks ago.

Was solid food and a pretty damn solid brew selection as well.

Interesting. Very banana-ey. Kinna like banana nut bread. Not the best. Not the worst. Probably wouldn't order again though.

Andrews not here today so I haven't gotten a word on the ghost. They have a strawberry canebrake cask. I'm not interested.

He says that st bernardus uses the original saint sixtus yeast and that westy now uses the westmalle yeast.

So there you go. Water and yeast. Big difference.

Yep. And with Belgians, yeast is a huge part of the taste.

Had Divine Reserve 14 yesterday. Not bad, but not what I'd hoped for. Is that the general concensus on it, or is my opinion once again different from most people?

FBD - NOLA ICS. This has become a go-to for me.

No beer yet today.

Been drinking Lime-a-Rita on ice out of a 44 oz Buc-ee's cup while the kids swim at the neighborhood pool.

Will have FBD once back home and cooking.

I think most of the posters were pretty underwhelmed when the details about the style were released. I think Bottomland might have been the exception.

After trying it I can say it's not bad, per se, it's just lacking. It lacks that little something extra to make it memorable. Glad to try it, will not buy again.
