But I would say a good belgian or french farmhouse saison or a strong belgian blonde ale like Duvel or Leffe blonde (a very under rated beer IMO) are good summer beers that still have a good bit of tastiness.

My formula is to take the outside temp, divide that by the metric equivalent, subtract the day of the month, add 300 and that gives me my minimum IBU requirement.
