I'm lucky. There are a lot of breweries and tap rooms around here that put out some damn good food. Maybe not 5 star cuisine, but good enough for when you have three teenagers with you...

I just have to figure out who has what on tap before making the decision on where to go. Not that you've ever made a dining decision based on a restaurant having a particular IPA that you want to try on tap...

Yeah, sorry about that. Beer selection blows. Mahogany Bar would have been the change of pace place with the good beer selection. Food was decent at Cotton Blues though? I generally find traditional Southern food pretty boring, but thought they did some interesting things.

i don't usually eat lunch but we ordered pulled pork nachos for the table and i had their burger with onion rings. we maybe ate half of the nachos and i ate less than half of the burger. all was really good--it was just so much food. my wife had their chopped salad and said it was good.

my wife had been their with a friend before.

i don't think mb would have been an option for lunch with kids--i'm not even sure if they're open for lunch?

Well it would probably be Crescent City Grille, which is the restaurant Mahogany Bar is inside. I'm assuming you could get all the beers available at MB, but I don't know for sure and I don't know if they are open for lunch.

Good beer, that Palate Wrecker.

3BD: 2nd Street IPA at their brewery. Decent enough.
