FBD was Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet that I found in the back of the fridge. Bottled sometime early last year...surprisingly wasn't all that bad.

Made my roux for gumbo. Running a couple errands and will probably pick back up with a mixed drink...hadn't figured out what yet. Need something to warm me up

I'm so jealous of that WF. I hope our new one has draft beer.

Wish they would too, do any stores/restaurants serve beer out the door as well as on tap?

Surprisingly, the beer selection is pretty good for having 3 taps. They only carry local brews. Today they had Barley Brown's, Widmer's Downward Spiral (one of their better offerings), and the Crux. I'm a sucker for Crux, so I went in that direction...

They do. A lot of the bottle shops in Portland have taprooms, too. They sell bottles out the door, or you can take a bottle up to the bar and they'll cap it for you and pour it in a glass - you don't have to pay a premium for drinking the beer right there, you just tip the bartender. It's kind of nice that you can buy one bottle, drink it, and then decide if you want to take more of it home.

Should have been clearer, any stores in NOLA? I don't think WF is holding back on their taps because of lack of demand. Hell, they host a beer tasting once a month in BR.

Have always been told that it is a different license in La, but can a store only hold one license and not both.

They would need a license for consumption on site too.

Well that sucks. I can walk all the way to the store drinking a beer though. I love Louisiana.

Pray for us here in Portland, too. Look what I'm getting ready to drive home in. I may only be able to stop for one beer on the way home.
