Heady and Ghost were hard to tell apart. The only way I picked Ghost correctly was because it smelled and tastes noticeably fresher.

I found the heady to be lighter in color and a bit drier. The 3 scientist in my study all picked Ghost over Heady but Pliny over both. This was batch 3 and GG wasn't available although I don't put it on that same level.

Can I see the write up?

I'm just yanking chains tonight. Mostly I'm jealous of salmon having all 4 of those beers in one setting.

For the record Ryno we had a Yellow Rose at this same gathering and it was well received by my coonass friends. We try and mule it here often. Just wasn't involved in the head to head since its a single.

We had no clue how old the heady was at the time. I'd guess it was the oldest. And this was batch 3 ghost.

As well it shouldn't be. Clearly it won't compare to DIPAs. I just think it's a perfectly executed beer for what they are going for. It's making Lone Pint some major cash right now.

Ghost doesn't have enough votes, would be at least in the top 250 if so.

So true. I haven't met a bad guy yet. Good times. I got to meet several posters last weekend including the dictator and it was really cool...even kennypowers.

Glad you had a great trip!

3bd is another 55-11 watching golden girls reruns. Good times
