An IPA shouldn’t be shitty after one month. If it is, it was a shitty IPA to begin with. It also shouldn’t be abrasive fresh. If I have to sit on it for six or seven weeks for it to be drinkable, it’s shite. Late June Ghost, I’m looking at you, total boozy nonsense. But also every other hype brewery that releases IPAs that I have to sit on to justify my purchase.
But that late June Ghost finally tastes good, so that’s cool. Thankfully it’s still on shelves.

Rough week here too, but I love Ghost the day it is released. I was just saying that the bottle I was drinking, which was bottled 7/16, was in its prime.
I've switched to brown here with a nip of the rye.
