4BD is another Dr. Hoptagon for research purposes. I want to see if there is any bottle variation. This one is as good as the first one.

SBD: really good 3IPA. Really good. Big bitter but nicely balanced by citrus.

Kim how do we score growlers here? I know the one bottle one beer rule. But?

I always score growlers per full glass poured, but defer to our supreme leader, of course.

This has come up a few times and I don't if we've had a definitive ruling, but a growler = more than one beer IMO. Different deal than one bottle = one beer. I think a 64oz growler would be 4BDs.

This, unless your growler looks like a really big bottle... well then we have some issues

Can't wait to get my hands on some Hoptagon bottles.

FBD will either be a Jai Alai or Green Bullet...still deciding.

What is near Gulf Shores worth hitting up?

Maggie's Bottle & Tail in Orange Beach is worth hitting up. They had tons of Westbrook last week when I was there, including One Claw, Gose, White Thai, and several others. Also some Jester Kings and fresh THA. They also had snake Handler but I'm not sure how fresh that was.

Today was my first time trying it and I am impressed. People that like Black IPAs should like this one.

She is not making the trip, I take it? I had lunch with G today and he wants to have a beer with you while you are down here. We laughed about the cookies, etc in Napa.
