The "Bourbonator" is the best Bishop Barrel to date. The new GM at Dry Creek also slid these passes to me for tonight's beer show at the House of Blues.

Stopped off at Big Thicket again. They had just tapped their cream ale. Was nice. Their IPA was rough a couple weeks ago but either he changed the recipe or it changed in the legs because it's much better now

FBD - Big Thicket Lone Star Electric IPA
SBD - BT cream ale
TBD - Texian Charlie Foxtrot Berliner Weisse

Love me some Steve Earle. But just like I love Elvin Bishop, is he not too fricked up from past decades to understand now?

Founders Centennial IPA. I count this among the best IPAs that are regularly on the shelves in BR, but we rarely see it fresh. This batch was bottled 3/04 and is really good. Great floral hop nose and a great hop bite on the finish.

I agree with this Kim. Coincidentally I picked up a six pack of the same batch today on my way to the office.

FBD Centennial in proper glassware

If I'm going to work today I may as well enjoy myself...

Yes. The quality of the broadcasts varies, with the games from Hoover being the worst, but I am loving it.
