I believe I saw where the International Maven Society added that commandment to their charter.

Probably really looks something like that Knee Deep Breaking Bud pic above, which looks delicious.

NBD - Ordnance EOD IPA with a Cubano from the food truck parked in the basement. This one is less hoppy and more balanced than the Headhunter. Nicely done - the finish is picking up some orange peel that I like...

If this is wrong, then I don't want to be right...

if i had access to all those brews i'd be very happy
but wonder how people would feel if RR made Pliny look like a New England style IIPA

There would be a revolt. They would complain that it's not true to the style. They would insist that RR should not call this beer PTE. It'd be kind of like New Coke.

I did get confirmation that that keg was fresh.

see this is where i'm lost, it makes mt think that people that like the NE hazy dont really care for "real" IPA's but not sure if thats fair
i love that turbid look but also think clear(er) beer to be more aesthetically appealing
Envie with a fig n pig

don't leave one behind. I will literally drink that beer until I vomit, then I'll drink more to replace the puke taste with more cinnamon delight.

You know those Abraxas, they're all over town,
You can't hardly sneeze without knockin' one down.
I'm a poet,
And didn't think so...

I judge beers not by the clarity of their brew but by the quality of their ibu. I have a dream we can all one day live in the golden promise of equal hops for all and that hazy lovers and clear lovers will be able to sit at the table of our IPAs and drink in harmony.
I have a dream.

I think that eventually, the NE and NW styles will eventually be defined as two different substyles of the IPA - like American vs English IPAs. I don't know if we know how to define the difference, yet. Is it the cloudiness, or the flavor, or both?

yep agree with Coater, has to be both and i'll throw mouthfeel in with that flavor those NE have a nice soft, velvety mouthfeel which is distinctly different from West Coast style

What's the deal with another release of black note stout? Pleased to find some at Cuban, looking forward to cracking one.
