Had it at Blue Oak this weekend and it might be my favorite beer yet. I don't drink beer too much anymore though so it might've played a factor in my enjoyment.

FBD - The Abyss on nitro while browsing at Belmont Station. The nitro definitely gives this beer a fuller, creamier body that the base beer lacks. Its a 2016, so it's still a little hot, but tasty.

This place is insane. Abraxas and FW XX are shelf turding. You can buy verticals of numerous beers. Over 1400 beers total - although I think they count the same beer twice if it comes in bombers and 6-packs, and they count a 5 year verttical as 5 different beers...

NBD - Fathead's Head Hunter. Bartender told me this was a very fresh and delicious keg. You can trust your bartenders at Belmont Station. Most of them, at least...

It does. Fathead's IPAd are filtered, and I think this one is picking up the Amber hue of the bar. Its darker in the pic than it is in person.

It is very hoppy, crisp, and fresh.

Then they need to stay away from hoppy beers by FW, Fatheads, RR, Oskar Blues, 3F, Surly, Founders, and Bells... To start with...

Yeah, I love that beer. I think it is "textbook" for the style. Glad it was the lighting.

That was not it at all. I love that beer, but it looked dark, like it was way old.
