My 85 year old dad is driving out here to SF next week and texted yesterday he was continuing to Prescott AZ. WTF!

My Dad is 87. He is moving into a retirement community here in BR. I am trying to make sure that he feels like it is home.

Nbd is some side by sides of two different homebrew steam beers.

What’s the difference? I brewed a NEIPA this morning. Citra Idaho 7 and cashmere. I’m going to DDH.

The one on the left is pale malt, c40, and special roast malt. The one on the right is pale malt, Munich malt, and c40. Both use sorachi ace hops and San Fran lager yeast. I prefer the one on the left. It's closer to Anchor steam. The one on the right tastes more like a standard amber lager.

I'm currently brewing a saison.

You need to post these in the homebrew thread. I have questions but don't want to hijack this thread.

That’s awesome, Kim. A few years ago, my mom and her siblings moved G’ma into one. They brought all the things that MOST reminded her of home there....her decorations, favorite things, etc. That made it feel like home to her, and made such a difference. It moved me...figured I’d share.

Ask here. No one goes in that other thread but bugger. He basically talks to himself.
