My only complaint is that we seem to flame out on the weekends. At noon it looks like we are headed for 20 pages and then by 9:00 pm it slows to a trickle of posts.
I'm either way too drunk and busy to post on the weekends or just distracted.
I'm almost MIA most weekends but trust me I'm drinking plenty of beers.

yeah, usual circumstances preclude me from posting beers at night on the weekends

Those few 20+ page FBD threads I feel happen when it's a perfect storm of all of us drinking at home alone.

One left in BR I think one or two of them made their way back to Jackson along with 2 more enjoy bys.
I'll try to share the last one with the group but I wasn't too impressed with them to be honest. But then again I had one when I was overcoming that cold. I'll try to give the last one a fair chance.

My starter was tasting pretty good. Hard on the nose still, but the saison spice and brett fruitiness were both very present. I emailed the guy at Anchorage and he said it was a lambicus strain, so I'm expecting some mild sourness once it's all said and done as I aerated the ever living shite out of it.
If I can get a good starter out of this, then I'll do a 5 gallon batch and I'll toss the dregs from a Boxers Revenge into a gallon or so of that to sour it. That should be pretty close to an old school sour saison.

I'm saving a Boxer's Revenge for the same reason. Posted on 5/13/13 at 10:14 pm to rds dc

And I'm getting tired of posting to myself. We need some of you people to stop day drinking and join me on the late night shift.

Microcosm of consumer preferences, obvisouly for the better. I've become a more consistent contributor as I got laid off about 2 months ago and have had much more free time in between interviews (looks like that may be ending next week).

Same here to some extent. My drinking hours during the week are 8p to 1p and on the weekend they're all over .. though I usually don't post very much on the weekends.

I was just looking back at my post history and found some of the first FBD threads I posted in. They were only 2 or 3 pages back then. Now we are up to 11...... On a Monday!
TBD is a Timber Beast. I am a big fan of this beer. Still need to try it on tap.

I would love to do a blind maven testing of Ten Fidy, Founders breakfast Stout, and Wake n Bake. One day...
I'm bored, contemplating a Pliny. #yolo

The last few pages of those threads are always a total shite show ending with Zappa spouting off like rain man.
