FBD: first bottle of a newly bottled homebrew.

Peches aux Mures - blackberry peach mixed fermentation sour ale. Still new in the bottle but it’s really good.

I wasn’t gonna start the thread, but I started pretty early and have maintained a snail’s pace.

Foam is either 2a or 2b for me in terms of Vermont hops. Hill with the top spot and River Roost is right there with Foam.

FBD is a Rare Barrel - The Kind You Find

Tasty raspberry sour. Almost Atrial level raspberry flavor.

I'm a big fan of that beer. Glad it's in Dallas now.

Do you still travel to New Mexico? If you do, I suggest you try Ex Novo Brewing in Corrales. I think their beers would be right up your alley.

Haven’t been in forever, but have to head that way in a few weeks for important business. Some of that important business will just have to include a stop at LaCumbre. Can I get ExNovo in Albuquerque?

Hope things level out at work, Kim

FBD is a Golden City Brewing - Firefly ipa. Super fruity. Supposed to be a “mystery fruit.” Tastes like mango, prickly pear, pineapple or something. Pretty solid

I had a MiniBawce lined up for my next one, but your post reminded me that a great a-hole once said “if you got ‘em, might as well drink ‘em”.

I can always get fresh MiniBawce.

Keeping it local so far. FBD and NBD are Good People IPA. I do have a southern juice in the fridge.

Also I need a ruling. I have a pint tulip glass. The Good People are 12 oz cans. Is it really NBD if I drink 2/3 of the first one then top it off with a fresh one?

Brut. There’s no date stamp, and the version I picked up in December had a stamp, so I figured at least semi fresh. IIIPA and didn’t taste like a malt bomb. Karlos told me they had an issue with their date stamp on some recent batches, but it should be fixed now.

Let’s put it this way. Houston didn’t get any Lagunitas Waldo’s this year, which I look forward to and enjoy very much. Picking up this Techeticles filled the void.

I suspect they are canning, or will be soon, but I do t know their distro footprint.

Its 13 miles away, according to Google maps. They started in Portland, but the owner is from Corrales.

Mass Ascension is probably up your alley, as is Eliot. Not Too Brite is a really good Hazy IPA. They started out making clean west coast IPAs, but are now doing some good haze, as well. They brew son good sours and BBA stouts, for good measure.
