FBD is a homebrewed French farmhouse ale. I'm liking it a lot more than when I first kegged it. Just needed a good lagering.

Pretty much every beer I've had from them was based on Belgian or French farmhouse styles and techniques, so yeah, they definitely make Belgian style beers.

Technically you're right. But tell someone you're drinking a belgian style beer and they imagine a trappist or abbey or dubbel or blonde. They dont really think of flanders reds or guezes or lambics or farmhouse ales. I see you're point though.

The beauty of "farmhouse" style ales is that it isn't so much a style as a way of brewing. There are lots of variations of the style and it is constantly changing.

FBD - Enjoy By

Tough day at work and two more to go. Gotta recommit to some sort of beer training regimen because all these beers are killing my hourglass figure.

Had a couple bacon Bloody Mary's with brunch at Beausoleil.

FBD was the rest of yesterday's Parish Farmhouse IPA.

SBD a homebrewed simcoe pale ale.

TBD is a Parish Envie.

FBD- Belgian Style Yeti

I've got a Belgian Yeti that is over a year old in my cellar. It will be interesting to do a side-by-side with a fresher one.

First enjoy by and the one on tap was better than the one I am having right now. Or at least it seems that way. Not sure how to place it, but seems bitter. First time I have has a enjoy by as lead off hitter though.

I figured that's what you were saying, but for some reason I sometimes feel the need to be a jackass and correct people even though I know what they meant.
