FBD - A salute to a legendARY FEAT BY heypaul.

I’m still reeling at the thought of a man downing 3 Triple NEIPA’s, an Imperial Fruited NEIPA, and that Flying Tiger IPA all in under like 3 hours and having the temerity to host the pics, post them to TD, AND add coherent captions... LEGEND.
In honor of heypaul’s remarkable achievement, I submit this FBD Thread.
FourthBD is Manchado Stout by Tin Roof. A stout with Kilned Coffee Malt, Cinnamon, Orange Peel, and Chocolate. It drinks thick with little head that recedes in less than a minute. Like a bold roast coffee, with subtle spice and light fruitiness from the orange peel. Intense roasted, chocolate flavor that builds within the mouth. Starts thick and muted but rises to intense roasty, chocolatey bitterness. Pretty solid for a $2 single at Whole Foods.
First-ThirdBD were my Homebrew Sabro NEIPA, Forklift Joyride, then an oxidized Tasman that I drain poured about 1/3 way through.
ETA: changed the title so everyone didn’t think he died.

I read the thread title, and thought I was going to have to pour one out for heypaul. I can drink this, right?

Haven't been drinking lately, so it's a nice clean entry back to hops. Would crush on the river but there are better options. Worth a try.

Damn, I thought someone died. Now I feel like I need to crack a beer to celebrate the fact that someone didn't die and just posted a bunch yesterday.
I do recall heypaul taking professional looking beer photos, which is fantastic.

Alright, I edited the title so everyone didn’t think he died.

A legendary feat indeed.
Speaking of feet, it's my FBD after 3 miles. Venus Rising.

Yeah the one day I don’t check the board and Heypaul goes ham.
Might have a beer later, still undecided.

SBD is the Wandering Star. Citra and Mosaic are an interesting combination of hops for a beer. Mosaic dominates in this beer.

Paul OD’ed on hops yesterday ?

By that, you do mean a combination that exists in 30+% of all NEIPA’s you’ve ever had, right?

There are many combinations of hops in beer. I find Citra and Mosaic most interesting because of the give and take of each hop. Other combinations can make good beers, but there is a delicate balance for these two.

Good times. "On the move with Zappas and Rouge"
FBD is an Abita brew that one of my partners gave me to try. This is really pretty good. The grapes give it a nice tartness and crispness. I am not going to buy any for home consumption, but I could see drinking these at a crawfish boil.
