If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll pull out the Sutter Home 2014.
Sometimes you just gotta treat yourself, ya know?

I don't have a particular red, even though that's what I usually drink.
For white, I really only buy Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay. It's imo the best bang for your buck in terms of chardonnay.

Depends on what I want to spend.
~$10 - Carnivore Cab
~$12-15 - Joel Gott Cab
~$20 - La Crema Cab or Pinot
~$30 - Sequoia Grove Cab
~$40 - Belle Glos Pinot

An Oregon Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, ftw. Most are at least "good", but it's common to get a great bottle for under $30 retail.

Favorite white is a relatively inexpensive variety from Italy--Vermentino. Martins gets it for me at $11/bottle.
Lava Cabernet
La crema Pinot noir
I love Rose' in the summer and I'm honestly not married to one particular brand. There are about three good ones I rotate between at Alexander's and they're all between $13-15.
ETA: I don't buy really expensive wine. In my humble and possibly incorrect opinion, I don't find a great (if any) difference between a $20 or $50 bottle of wine. Seriously.

If you like South American reds, try a brand called Casa Del Diablo. They make a Cab and a Carmenere that are awesome.
I blind tasted some with a buddy of mine who really knows wine, me not so much, and he was shocked at how good it was for the $12-15 price point. He drinks it regularly now.
