I like to drink TX Blended Whiskey by Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. after a long day at the Site while wearing my H&E Equipment trucker cap and shined the truck nuts of my Toyota Tundra.

But then when I'm out in the downtown area classing it up attending Rodeo I'll sip on some Yellow Rose Blended Whiskey while wearing my nicely polished Ariats with my best jeans and Columbia PFG button up. I splurge a little and get my wife a pretty dream catcher.

Was at Spec's yesterday. Saw a bottle of Garrison for $80.

That must be some good whiskey. I kept walking.

Yellow Rose blended is $35, but their bourbon and higher end ranges from $50 to $80.

I feel like there are hundreds of great microbrews around the country worthy of consuming. But, when it comes to liquor -- especially whiskey, I'd rather drink what the big distilleries have perfected than some local hipster.

Sad that you have to go to Texas just to get a whiskey

I haven't found any other good ones yet.

American Whiskey and bourbon should be made in Tennessee and Kentucky exclusively, just like Jesus intended when he cane over here to found the Church if Latter Day Saints.

Ireland and Scotland can join the fun too but that’s because they have their own names.
