I agree R2R. I have only ever eaten Krystal once, and it was pretty nasty and it tore up my insides something awful.

For me it's easily Hardee's.

There was NOTHING better on the way home from the bar in college. It was so damn good.

Count me on the Taco Cabana bandwagon. I avoid fast food as a rule, and I sometimes crave that queso. I don't even know what the hell it's made of, but it's tasty stuff about once or twice a year.

Ditto. I felt like I had consumed a bucket of raw sewage.

I live in San Francisco. About the only fast food that is somewhat ubiquitous is McDonald's and Chipotle. I could go to In-and-Out it I want to go to the tourist trap that is Fisherman's Wharf or head south of the city.

Overall I don't crave fast food. With that said, Steak and Shake is an option I wish I had near by.

Krystal is not meant for consumption while sober.

I went to a Steak-N-Shake about 2 years ago in rural Alabama. It's nothing like it used to be back when I was taking road trips during college 10 years ago.

Or maybe I just grew up..

Taco Cabana, Pasadena Texas 247 miles away is the closest one. It's not the best but It does it for me.
