Fall Tomatos question

For the first year ever, I planted some fall tomatoes. Cherokee Purples and Celebrities. I have about 30-45 good sized tomatoes that are all deep dark green and have been for the past 10-12 days or so with no indication that they are turning colors to ripen.
With the overnight freeze coming Tuesday, my plan was to just pick them all and hope they ripen inside by the window sill ?
No way for me to cover them really.
Thoughts?

Yeah, you need to pick them or they will be ruined on the plant. Tomatoes can't tolerate below freezing temperatures.
You can put them in a paper bag to help them ripen, you can also make fried green tomatoes and I've used many over the years to make a salsa verde which is a sweet style salsa that resembles chow-chow when done.

Yeah, just wait till sunday or monday and pick. Place in a cool dry place. They will ripen fast when placed in a bag with an apple.

You better wrap your plants or they will most likely die this weekend.

Most certainly pick them. Fried green tonite the celebrities and let the Cherokee ripen.

Pick them and let sit. They will ripen fine. Mine played out about three weeks ago.
Go buy a store bought nice red one and it it in the counter. It will stay like that for two months.

Put an apple or two in the bag with them.

I'll take some. I'm planning on making a nice gumbo this weekend and no gumbo recipe is complete without tomatoes.

Put a couple of bananas in the bag with them. They will ripen in 2 days.
