I found some Harpoon Flannel Friday at the W-D a couple weeks back. It's not too shabby. I'm terrible at beer descriptions, so I'll ctrl-c their writeup.
Description
This Hoppy Amber Ale is our tribute to the quintessential season of change. A bright hop aroma from late hop additions plays with its strong malt backbone. Amber hued, medium bodied, with hints of citrus and pine, this ale is made for the crisp days (and nights) of fall.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Amber in color with a garnet hue
Aroma: Citrus, piney, a hint of tropical fruit
Mouth feel: Medium bodied
Taste: Malty and hoppy
Finish: Moderate hop finish

Bells. Trim Tab Rye Brown and Good People out of Birmingham. Back 40 Truck stop honey brown if you like it sweet. I start on the scotch ales about this time of year. Old ales too. Trim Tabs should be out soon I think.

I'm a fan of brown ales and have enjoyed many listed in here. Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar and Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale are high on my list.
Great Raft Creature of Habit is a once-a-year seasonal brown ale brewed with Rhino coffee (a local shop), and it's out right now. I thought it was okay the first year I tried it, but last year it was awesome. A lady at the tasting room said they had tweaked the recipe a bit.
I had my first one of this year last night, and it was again very good. I wish they made this more often.
