My wife and I will be down there at the end of April for our anniversary and staying at The Grand Hotel. What restaurants do you recommend for lunch and for dinner? We would prefer nicer restaurants for dinner.

Thanks

For lunch, go to the Dragonfly Foodbar.
Wife got the Kung Po Chicken tacos and they were some of the best I've ever eaten.
Pork Rinds with queso was damn good as well.

Best meal I had in Fairhope.

drove by this on our last beach trip but couldn't find what it was later on. Beautiful little town, and this place was happening on a weekend evening.

If you like Cajun style food, check out either Boudreaux's on the water in Daphne or Café Acadiana in Silverhill.

Boudreaux's doesn't open until 3, and they aren't what I would consider "nicer" for dinner, but Café Acadiana is open for lunch and is about a 20 minute drive from the Grand.

I’ll pile in on Dragonfly. Coater recommended and it did not disappoint.

Wash House is great for a nice dinner. Get the chateau briande (sp?).

Dragonfly for lunch. It's amazing Asian fusion

Don't sleep on Battles Wharf Market (the old convenience store near the Grand). Good BBQ, burgers, plate lunches.

Local's has always been pretty good. Great blackened mahi sandwich.
