Going to take a detour to Fairhope. What are some good places to eat? Is Sunset Pointe good or no?

I had a great meal at Sunset Pointe Saturday night. I had the tuna nachos and the grilled Shrimp.

Wash House is always great. I dined there last night. Order the Chateaubriand.

Dragonfly Food Bar is also an excellent option.

i second this... they do some awesome tacos with asian infusion twist

I am wanting to try Wash house but they are not open when we drive through coming back from perdido key on Sundays.

I am going to suggest Sunset Pointe @ fly creek marina - tried to go Sunday at 1230 and it was slammed. The menu looks top notch

Fairhope is the bomb and would move there in a second

I can’t believe no one has mentioned Warehouse yet.

Warehouse Bakery

Food is legit. Well at least the breakfast is.

I am seriously shocked at how successful and popular Warehouse Bakery is. It's in a very shitty location and is literally on the cusp of the Fairhope ghetto

It's damn good though. Texarbama BBQ was right next door to it and is incredibly popular as well. They are relocating to downtown Fairhope opening back up at the new location June 30th

Like mentioned, Dragonfly Cafe has some awesome tacos and it's not expensive. Jesse's in magnolia springs for a nice dinner date. Skip Shux on the Fairhope Pier, that place blows but you've got a million dollar view

Ben's BBQ has been around forever and is damn good for lunch. Highly recommend it, also Ox Kitchen is good for lunch as well. Enjoy Fairhope, this place is the tits

My wife and I moved to Fairhope about 1.5 years ago from Lafayette. I concur the hell out of Camellia cafe, sunset pointe and Dragon Fly and Warehouse.

Bone and Barrel is great for bar food and is one of a few places open sundays in downtown. Ravenite Pizza has the best wings in town

Get the grouper sandwich at sunset

Master Joe's is ok,but you can get just as good in most cities

Red or white is a fantastic place for wines and flat breads

Gambino's is fantastic Italian. Go on a night between Wednesday and Saturday and go to the piano bar after 7

The Grands breakfast buffet is incredible, get an omelet

District donuts is really cool too

Pinzones = overrated

Have heard great things about the wash house and Camille cafe but those are the two I haven't been too

The Hampton downtown may be the nicest Hampton in the country around 150 a night for when you don't feel like the 300 for the grand

The grand is under construction ATM but should be done around August

Pick what you want to eat, enjoy the peaceful town and good shopping.
