thanks. Here's a spoon shot. Personally I think I crushed this gumbo. The oysters ( and water) add a nice saltiness. I love the chicken livers (wife says not again) and they add a nice richness to the gumbo. The duck I roasted first and used the breast plates in the stock to add some duckiness. Big fan. Will do again, God willing I kill some ducks

NBD - Buoy Beer / ABV Kettle Demon. This is better than Super IPA. Its a one off that was brewed by Buoy out of Astoria using the recipe of the owner of this combination home brew shop/brewpub that I'm sitting in.
This is a good beer. I hope they do it again.
ETA: its the finish that makes this one better. Love it. Not too bitter, and not to sweet.

Congrats. I love that feeling. I don't really use a recipe, so each batch is a little different. Chicken and andouille is my go to. I've added shrimp before, but never oysters. Maybe next time.

3BD Foothills Hoppy Medium Brown Ale
I probably like this more than I should. Nice hoppy initial taste, but that is soon overwhelmed by a very pronounced nuttiness. Solid backbone. Weird beer, but I like.
