Elsie's always seems to have an inspired Restaurant Week menu. Typically the offerings aren't on their regular menu. Might have to go.

Also, if anyone hasn't been to Zorba's they should make it the top of their list.

Went to Provisions on Perkins last night. It was my first time there and the food was great. Beer selection is really good with about eight local beers on tap; also had lots of wine and a few cocktails. The group split the crawfish cornbread, smothered in butter, which was very good. Tomato soup was really thick and creamy. It came with a sad little slice of grilled cheese, but the soup itself was good. The ravioli was really rich and the sauce was good. Earthy mushrooms with a kind of sweet-kind of spicy sauce. Desert was an ice cream sundae which was good.

I’ve never been to Provisions before but it was a homerun last night. Drinks, service, food were all really good. Will definitely go back.

Does the chef have something really special in store for this?

City Pork looks good for sure. As does Elsie’s.

I only wish the restaurants would give the option of a drink instead of a dessert. Last year the few that I went to I was too full to even bother with the dessert.

Screw the haters! We went last night and it was excellent. I got the jerk chicken & dumplings for the meal and I HIGHLY recommend it. Apparently 1/2 off wine bottles on Wednesday nights so we split a bottle of the prisoner white blend as well.

We went to Cecelia's last night. I had the French Onion Soup, Beef Tournedos, and Bananas Foster Bread pudding. Everything was cooked to perfection and service was good. My wife had the shrimp and grits which was also delicious.

Went to Zorbas for my birthday and forgot it was Restaurant Week. Got the Bruschetta and the Red Drum for entree. Omg. Delicious and it isn’t on their regular menu so it was nice to have something different.

Zorbas might be the most under appreciated restaurant in BR
