Why not? I drink about half a glass of whole milk from grass fed cows, for what it's worth.

If you are eating enough ice cream for that to make a difference, you're doing it wrong

ETA and probably fat

I eat at least a pint of ice cream a week. The good stuff too - usually Ben and Jerry's or haagen dazs. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 155-160 lbs.

Just because you like ice cream doesn't mean you're overweight.

Don't eat until you're full..eat until you aren't hungry anymore.

Have a healthy snack before a meal if you are really hungry.

frick that.

The meal isn't over when I'm full, the meal is done when I hate myself.

Everything. I don't drink wine so it's either milk or water.

ETA: let me clarify that I mean meals at home. I don't go to restaurant and order a glass of milk.

Eat the rainbow (of fruits & veg), eat fewer white foods (i.e., refined starches).

The notion that health = "not fat" pisses me off and demonstrates just how fat our society is.

Plenty of thin people are walking around with jacked up hormones, are pre diabetic, and have numerous micronutrient deficiencies.

Doesn't piss me off, but I agree with the premise. The OP didn't mention weight, but said health. Some of us took off with the weight thing.

That said, "less sugar, more water" may not be the full solution, but it definitely moves toward a goal of better health.

The real problem I see in the typical American diet goes beyond too much sugar, it's eating too much of the foods that are quickly converted to blood glucose. Kazillions of man hours of testing humans blood glucose response to various foods have led to the development of the 'Glycemic Index'. You can't be concerned about sugar intake unless you understand where various foods are on the 'Glycemic Index'.

Not only sugar but rice and pasta which turns to sugar in your body. Eat meat, veggies, eggs and nuts.

Agree with this. Not sure why all the downvotes. I guess everybody is different but for me it was easily confirmed that rice, bread, paste either kept the weight or added. Cut that shite out and you'll lost weight for sure. And also eat less.
