I don't understand where the people in this thread saying its a horrible location and surrounding restaurants are struggling are coming from. It's like they don't even live in BR

Yeah Ninfas/Tio and Ruth's Chris have struggled mightily to stay open for decades on the same street
This doesn't make any sense

It made about as much sense as blaming expense accounts and the IRS for failing steakhouses

Yeah, I stopped reading his post after he suggested that places have been struggling for decades to stay open.
But hey, it's the FDB, gotta find a way to shite on the BR restaurant scene somehow

I think he was attempting to quote the sarcastic first post on page 3. He just failed at both quoting it and picking up on the sarcasm.

I was being a smart arse because someone said the location was terrible because he wanted it in Prairieville

Ahh I see that now
The rest of his post was still dumb so I don't feel bad about it

literally every post in this thread has been about BR/NOLA restaurants, namely ones located on Constitution Ave

I think more correctly, New Orleans restaurants don't want to come to BR.
Well they sure seem to keep coming. Like I said, the wrong ones are coming.

What competing restaurant do you work at?
Was thinking the same thing. This has local BR restaurant investor written all over it...
You know if Link, Spicer, etc start looking this way they will shut down some of the Crabmeat hollandaise crap we have been having here for ever.
