We pretty much hit the same restaurants every day of the week. On occasion we may switch it up on the weekends but usually we keep the same rotation of places each night of the week.

Somehow this doesn't make sense to me. Most give up eating meat on Friday during Lent and rely on seafood for their protein.

Why move Sushi night from Friday to Saturday during Lent????

We aren’t Catholic. The wait during lent is always long.

Because the sushi places are too crowded on Fridays during Lent?

Assuming he isn't Catholic.

Now that makes total sense. I was raised Catholic and even though I no longer participate in that, or any other religion, it just goes to show how deep the roots of the rules of the church are ingrained in me still.

During the summer, when our vegetable garden starts producing, we do meatless Monday. We supplement what we grow with purchased vegetables, but this helps even out weekend indulgence.

A salad with Cherokee tomatoes, cooked okra, cukes, green onions and some type of bean or bulgar wheat with a homemade vinegarette. Nice cool meal for a hot day.

I've never, in my entire life, seen KIBOSH spelled that way.

Meatloaf Monday going strong for over a decade for the kids. Fish on Tuesday, the night before the garbage comes.

I've never, in my entire life, known the correct way to spell it.

Not by design, but we've fallen into the habit of grilled pork chops on Mondays. We like the Duroc thick cut porterhouse type chops from Dorignac's. Plus, they are cheap.
