Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever ordered a salad in my life. Weird because I do enjoy them when it comes with an entre.

I usually get them to start off my meal when I go to a steakhouse. For sides with the steak, I go with au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach.

ALWAYS do a salad with a full dinner or full lunch
As far as a entree salad, I will occasionally
I only prefer salads in warm weather months though
semi-new Mediterranean place in the bywater has a great greek salad with salmon, it was filling
a entree salad has to have somekind of protein though for it to work for me, beef/chicken/shrimp/fish plus the greens and such

had a green goddess last week with a grilled chick breast that was just fantastic- Coop's in the quarter
dressing is always the key for me since Im not a big fan of mayo but the goddess dressing was outstanding

I also enjoy the hell out of a strawberry salad in the summer months. That being said, I still never make it an entree.

I don't order salad for an entree. I do enjoy one before the entree arrives and sometimes have the salad with the entree. The only time I have salad as a meal is if it is a large taco salad.

spirits in alex has best grilled chicken salad youll ever eat.

I'll have to try that one.
I have tried Albasha (bluebonnet and pville locations) and didn't like the dressing...tasted like mayo.

Reginelli's has a couple of salads that I prefer over anything else on the menu and they keep me full. They are the chicken salad and avocado asparagus salad.
