I used to eat two bologna slices on white bread for lunch most days as a kid. Thanks for the reminder I may actually go get a pack for lunch.

I fry up a peice of bologna from time to time. Fried bologna sandwch on fresh bunny bread is a damn good lunch. Got to cut some slits in the bologna so it doesn’t bubble up.

It depends. Are those nicknames for your mom?

I thought about it once but I just decided to eat a bunch of cigarette butts instead.

We had bologna sandwiches all the time when I was growing up. For us, a luxury was to get “lunch meat”, which was chopped ham parts mixed with lots of pork fatty product. I only ate real sliced ham for holidays. A holiday ham was a big deal.

I got so sick of bologna and lunch meat and I never ate it again once I was an adult.....

Until recently!.... I had a bologna sandwich at a friends house (he’s poor) a year ago, and Boy did it bring back memories of my childhood! I actually enjoyed it! But once was enough!

Fried bologna on bunny bread with American cheese and mustard is essentially sex in sandwich form.

Hardy's had a fried baloney, velveta cheese on a biscuit special for a while. Tried it one day while I was on the road and it was great. Reminded me of my grandparents when I was a kid. They bought Schott's baloney from the plant where the Superdome is now. Thick cut and fried until it was a little burnt. Wish they were still here.

Fried bologna is delicious. Romaine lettuce. Tomato. Mayo. Cheese. Low carb and amazing.

Not ashamed...my folks struggled to put food on the table when I was real young and although I never went to bed hungry sometimes this was what I ate since my mom was off to job #2 and dad hadn't made it home from the job site for the day yet. Luckily both were hard workers and able to progress pretty fast in their careers...then by the age of 5 I was allowed to have turkey sammiches.

My dad always ate fried bologna sandwiches when I was a kid. I couldn't stand them
